Chris Atkinson of QLD has set an FAI International World Record for an RPL1T Paraglider with thermal engine. The record was set on 2nd January 2012 and was for a distance in a straight line with limted fuel – 135.1 km.
Former ASAC President and FAI Vice President (Australia), Henk Meertens AM, was recently bestowed with FAI Companion of Honour status at the 105th FAI General Conference in Belgrade, Serbia.
